Clearance

Clearance of goods means all the steps you take to free your imported and exported goods from customs.

Since performing these measures is a specialized and complex task and requires full familiarity with the process, the process of customs clearance is usually entrusted to a person called work clearance. Shipping and release operations are usually performed by the owners of the goods or their legal representatives. Customs clearance procedures

According to the type of purpose of import and export of each commodity, various customs procedures have been developed by the Cabinet to facilitate the affairs and clearance of goods and have been notified to the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Definite entry
Import of goods that enter the country permanently and for consumption.
Temporary entry
This Convention applies to exhibition goods or project goods returned to their origin. The ATA Convention for the Temporary Entry of Exhibitions into Iran has also been approved by Parliament.
Temporary entry is a customs procedure according to which certain goods can enter the customs territory temporarily under certain conditions. These goods must be removed within a certain period of time set by the Iranian customs without any change. Of course, changes due to depreciation are an exception to this rule.
Returns
Goods that could not be cleared after entering customs are therefore returned.
Foreign transit
Goods that go from a source abroad to a destination abroad and only pass through the territory of a third country.
Domestic transit
The goods are transferred from customs to another customs in the country with the intention of carrying out the formalities of definite clearance.
Definitive issuance
Export the country for consumption at the destination
Temporary issuance
Temporary export and return of goods after the period
Refund of entry fee
Refund of the time of arrival of the goods regarding the imported goods to be exported.
